I know, for some of you, it’s hard to understand. Some of you might even be driven mad with envy. But honestly, I don’t care. The Emperor was simply searching for the most extraordinary way to propose. After long nights of reflection and meticulous planning, I finally envisioned how I could declare my love to you across the entire city and deliver a truly romantic proposal.

The Blue Rose perfectly embodies how I feel—it’s not just about letters. It’s not just about the nights we spent together. No ordinary proposal could suffice. You know our love deserves something far grander, something worthy of its magnitude. And you, my dearest, deserve the most romantic proposal imaginable.

This woman truly takes my breath away. In every sense, in every way. And now, in the midst of this magical chapter of our lives, we have two little daughters—Helena and Ariadne. If I may mention them, both are enchanting, a reflection of their mother’s beauty. Helena, in particular, insists she’s the Blue Rose herself. Naturally, there’s a bit of sibling jealousy in the house, but thankfully, I know how to calm my wife when things get a little dramatic. The small moments always mean the most to her.

I realize I’m digressing. I was telling you about the proposal, wasn’t I? As always, I talk too much. But it truly was an incredible day, just like every day spent with the breathtakingly beautiful Ilaria.
