Special Lyrics

so the queen travelled far and she travelled wide
the goon or stranger never far behind
soon the monster ran out of places to hide
and had to confront this perseverent mind

but whilst the queen was quite ready for battle
she was expecting only one enemy
so when the stranger, all clad in metal,
came from behind, she went down swiftly

but the plan never was to kill the queen just like that
she was only to be stunned for a while
so that when the beast met her she'd be lying flat
and the monster would have no trouble eating her in any style

the stranger hid in the bushes but remained close
and lo, the monster did indeed arrive
but the blow had been too weak, the queen arose
she was now conscious besides being alive

the hired goon, stunned, took to his feet and ran
while the queen prepared for a fight
and fight she did, she fought like a woman
and by this I mean she evoked respect and fright

her clash with the beast was long and awesome
but all things must finally come to their ends
it will surely come as a relief to the kingdom
that the queen was successful in her defense

the beast was wholly decapitated
by the magnificent woman's sword
and the queen, invigorated,
returned to the town to confront her lord

this tale she recounted to the crowd
who stood in utter disbelief
after finishing she fell silent and bowed
and began waiting for her relief

now the folk had heard three tales
and they had to choose which one was true
one out of three the rest pales
since truth always wins, whatever you do
