Tudo era rápido até que o site cresceu
do nada essa gente obcecada apareceu
E aí, fudeu...
Era muita requisição, o apache não aguentou, não.
O Mod_PHP era lerdo demais, e o mysql não tinha paz.
Cacheava toda hora, e o swap aumentava a muito a demora.
Então tivemos que apelar, arrumar uma alternativa, passar noites em claro estudando um jeito de voltar o site a ativa.
Foi quando o nginx apareceu, e quase tudo se resolveu. O bichinho é mesmo parrudo, consome pouca memória e CPU, sobra recurso pra quase tudo!
E o php rodando em cgi é uma beleza, compila rapidinho, e com xcache junto, adeus lerdeza!
O Mysql que ainda tá zicado, ainda dá gargalo, mas qualquer hora acho um jeito de configurá-lo.
O importante é que o site ta de volta e bombando como nunca, mesmo que esteja hospedado naquela espelunca :B
