This is the ballad of the true CD-Family!
Remember us!
We are the true CD-Family:
It started when Christopher Dicker met Cécile Bader in Madrid where they had their first date and he gave her a butterfly and a rose as farewell gift.
They met again in Paris where they danced and fell in love.
Again in Paris years later on Valentines Day Chris asked Cécile to become his wife and she was speechless and didn't say yes for minutes, while he waited on his knees before her.
As they got married Cécile changed her last name to Dicker and so there were Christopher and Cécile Dicker.
Then their first kid was born. A daughter. And she got called "Cara Dicker". A true CD-girl.
Cara grew up to be just as her dad.
They got married in Glasgow in a huge wedding party, but missed their own wedding date afterwards, because Chris had asked Cécile out for the day after the wedding.
And Cathryn Dicker was born before a year was over. And she got her moms eyes.
Another true CD girl.
Then they had Celeste Dicker and then Christine Dicker and finally they got a son, who got called Caerwyn Dicker.
The youngest of all is me, Cherry Ann Dicker and I was born in Manila just a few days after that city was born as well.
Together we were:
Chris and Cécile, Cara, Cat, Celeste, Christine, Caerwyn and Cherry Ann Dicker, the true CD-Family.
We confuse our friends, because our initials are the same.
And when we are gone, will you still remember us?
At least when you buy a CD?
I gave recently birth to a beautiful girl and my husband named it Cecile Dicker.
And so the CD-Line will go on.
yeeeeha!
