At night, a shadowy figure with glowing eyes can be seen lurking in a window, its gaze piercing into the street below. Some guests claim mirrors in their rooms reveal fleeting glimpses of people dressed in old attire, as if witnessing past lives. Locals believe the hotel is haunted by spirits bound to Sarajevo’s turbulent past, forever “seen” yet unable to leave. Those who stay are often left with an unsettling feeling, as if they’ve glimpsed more than they should.
