"Here he goes again," Lux whispered, leaning against his little brother as her amused eyes remained fixed on the older one: the father of the bride.
"Should we get him a glass of water? He must be on the verge of dehydration by now," Cosmo commented as he raised his glass of champagne a notch in Phoenix's direction, a gesture to confirm the siblings were once again laughing at the weepy mess their brother had became since he saw Niele in her wedding dress. A little nod to let Phoenix know they were there for him, in case they were needed.
The day was a celebration of love, of the fairytale romance the bride and groom shared, but it spread, as real love often did, everywhere. The whole day felt like a gift to him, unexpected faces he would've never imagined to find there included. While Cosmo and his siblings spoke almost everyday, it wasn't often that the whole family managed to be in the same place for longer than a few hours and they all seemed determined to make the most of every single minute. Eager to spend every second together, hugging, smiling, loving.
And even if mocking his older brother's emotional state was mandatory, Cosmo wasn't much better: he couldn't help but stare at the newlyweds with the softest smile on his face, in love with their love. Surrounded by family, his heart felt so full of love and appreciation that it was threatening to overflow.
