Ronny loved Chloe’s coffee. It wasn’t just that hers tasted better than any he’d ever had—it always brought him back to the first time she’d brought him a cup. From that day on, it became their little tradition.
So when Ronny saw Chloe approach him with the birthday cake and two cups of coffee, he greeted her with the biggest of grins. "Hmm my true love carrying my delicious birthday presents. What a sight." He joked playfully, completely unaware that she was carrying a third, secret birthday present in her belly. After savoring the first bite of cake, he took a sip of coffee, wrapped an arm around Chloe’s shoulders, and soaked in the beautiful moment.
As Ronny was finishing his coffee, Chloe leaned in and whispered something in his ear that left him momentarily puzzled. But when he looked into her eyes -shining with love- it suddenly clicked. "a little Roadknight" was a hint at future plans. A wide grin spread across his face. "Oh... really? I mean... I'd love that." He stuttered delighted by this suggestion.
Only as the cup was about to reach his lips again, did something at the bottom catch Ronny's eye. His jaw dropped. In disbelief, Ronny turned back to Chloe, needing to know this wasn’t some dream or trick of the light. "WE ARE?! I mean- you are?! -We’re gonna- You already...-" A million thoughts crashed through his mind, leaving him speechless. Overflowing with emotion, he set the cup down and leaned in for a passionate kiss.
With three words, a new chapter unfolded.
