lounging in the bathtub, Kaede tipped his head back and closed his eyes. the water was like a warm hug enveloping his body and the light floral scent of the bath bomb he'd used encouraged his relaxed state.

he'd just been brought home from Los Angeles, not arguing nor making much of a fuss when Ab had come to LA to bring him back to London. he had even adored the way that Abercrombie had called it 'home,' despite the fact that they had originally met in LA, of all places. some little part of him delighted in the idea that Abercrombie didn't like when Kaede went away on his trips.

it had nothing to do with the streaming that he had eventually stopped doing months ago and had more to do with other attempts at working, such as modeling and going to conferences. just because he no longer worked in the adult entertainment industry didn't mean that he no longer had interest in the business.

of course, he was much like a stray cat in the way that Abercrombie had fed him crumbs of attention and money, drawing him in with his desperation for being desired and wanted. and like a stray cat, it would likely be impossible to get rid of Kaede now. he was growing attached, and it had nothing to do with the money or attention...

it was difficult, if not impossible, to try and earn Abercrombie's affection, though the little moments when he did cave were enough to keep Kaede thriving and coming back. he was not someone built for meaningless sex, though he couldn't help but be obsessed with their banter and...more.

breathing a slow but happy sigh, he opened his eyes and stared up at the bathroom ceiling. though he had a cute little place of his own, an apartment for which he still paid rent, he often found himself retreating to Abercrombie's place, just as he was now. he enjoyed his company and felt safe around him. he didn't want to admit to the latter part, though.

he had already given Ab plenty of power over him, after all.
