Fever dreaming #2

It was the strangest of experience. It was hard to say would Mina remember anything of it when she'd finally wake up - and to wake up she must, she had a life to get back to - but to simply experience all this was very interesting. There was a whole new dimension, an other plain of existence she seemed to be wander in right now. It was clearly a dream, as it was ever-changing, yet it was as if she took it all in on a whole new level. She saw colours, with especially a yellow spiral pattern being ever-present. Nothing in there was threatening or scary. Everything just.. was.

She didn't see people nor animals. No spirit guides in the shape of a coyote coming to greet her, no people to talk to. She heard voices, though. They were familiar. Two from time that seemed a long ago. Voices that had always been there. And it felt soothing that they were there even now. And one, a voice that made her heart flutter, even in the dreamlike state she was in. And when that voice connected with something warm, as if a connection to some other world, it felt like it was an anchor between those states of existence.

In her current state she didn't see her own corporal body, but she knew she was smiling. And she knew she had to move towards that anchor point.

And that anchor point was Elyse holding her hand while talking to her.
