Being vulnerable is like yielding to the impulse to melt under an uncertain sun.
I am vulnerable by nature. I melt in the proximity of warmth, even knowing I may never return to who I once was. Every touch, every step upon me is a risk — the risk of losing myself in the other, of fragmenting into something unrecognizable.
Fear is my constant companion: what if my surrender is wasted? What if, instead of beauty, I am only the discomfort of wet feet?
Yet my fragility makes me real.
Each flake that dissolves under the light of the sun is a small sacrifice I make for the authenticity of being. My choice is to fall, to reveal my essence — even if, in the end found in the thaw, it costs me eternity.
