Mama, I got married on Sunday, we just got out of bed, thanks for the babysitter recommendation. You didn’t know it was for my wedding. You didn’t know I was with Maxie even. It never goes very well when I fall in love, and I did with him, a long time ago, when Vincent and Lily got together and we got sat at the same damn little teeniebopper table at their wedding. I always thought he was a massive geek, but that first kiss with some other fucker, I just knew my lips were always meant for Max..and then I got knocked up and I’m a little embarrassed, but it was not by little Maxie Sexton but some other kid, and well, you helped me with everything. You’re the best Mama ever. Don’t be mad we didn’t have a proper wedding and were home an hour after eating mac and cheese and drinking in our hotel room…it was the best day ever, and I love Sexton with every tiny heartfelt bone in my body(there’s a few)..



And Brodie…I’m sorry I kept you a secret. It was for the best. For all our families, and for you. I never wanted to be a mother, and you were practically crowing before I realised I was even pregnant(how idk!!) I’m sorry you weren’t sung about and shown off like a cute little newborn should be. You’re so stinking cool, and Max is a much better guy than I am, so…everything’s gonna be okay. He’s gonna be a rad dad.



Max…what can I say about you? Stupid. What are you doing marrying ME? Thankyou for saying yes to signing every legal document I’ve handed you in the last year. For saving my stupid ass, for being there, for asking me to marry you!! For saying I do, for being hot af, for every kiss and every single every night wake up you do with our little surfer dude. I love and owe you (and your gsg ppm) many many…free prescription drugs from the local dispensary written by my hand, or smth.
