Touring
He sat in the hotel room, trying - unsuccessfully - to get a bit of rest.
Touring the world had drained more out of him than he ever could've imagined. Not just energy, but something deeper. Something heavier.
Maybe it was time to give up on the whole musician dream.
Or maybe he just needed to spend more time at the gym, toughen up a bit.
Still, he knew - somewhere in that quiet space between thought and fatigue - that it wasn't just physical exhaustion weighing him down. No, this was something else. Emotional. Lingering.
It was painfully clear: he still hadn't grown used to showing the world what he could do.
And certainly not to doing it in front of so many eyes.
