[08.144] Elite Models: Glam.

A message lit up on my phone screen and, as I had expected, it was the group indicating another one of the week's jobs. I confess that I was anxious after the holidays, not knowing where to start organizing the delayed work. But... there was something about the week's theme that made me want to start my day; I knew that all my model friends were excited too. After a hot coffee, I drove through the streets of London to the agency and before lunch the photos were ready.

It had been a private and very glamorous event, but at the front door where we walked freely into the establishment, a barrage of reporters interested in advertising and promotion were fighting over a glimpse of what had happened inside. I smiled when I saw an interviewer wave at me, and I felt like a new man from Elite as soon as I started to answer how I was feeling that day — Everything was beautiful, and in this new year the plans at the agency don't stop. I'm happy with how we're growing, and how visibility has increased in the last few months.

A few more flashes, side conversations in front of a bunch of cameras, when I finally heard the question I had been waiting for since I left to speak to everyone. The TV reporter next to me asked what I could say in my short journey to the new models who have the same dream, and how in a few words I could define what being here has done to me and my life. It was with immense pride that I answered, and of course, with a smile on my face.

— We must not give up, and fear is part of the process. It was a pleasure to be accepted and to be here today. Elite changed my life, and being so close to the cameras, overcoming personal obstacles was the first goal achieved. Today I can say that I am passionate about what I do, and I owe a lot to Elite.
