with traces so blurry.
Taking a few steps back, eyes still glued onto the wall in front of her, the girl wiped her cheek with the back of her hand and almost stumbled, as she knocked a couple of cans over, that had been sitting on the floor not too far from her.
The noise resonated through the otherwise empty backyard, making her flinch before letting out a breath. No one was home anyway.
It wasn't that she was doing anything wrong, really, given that she was still in their very own backyard, hidden from curious eyes and anyone who would think wrong of her.
The wall of the spacious garage had even been specifically chosen by her dads for their artworks and over the years it had become a mix of all kinds of different styles and colors, slowly growing an piece of art, that somehow represented their family. It was fun, even if she would've preferred a shopping trip over it any time and it felt right, considering it was what her dads loved doing so much as well.
Would she ever consider herself an artist? Probably not. But it was fun.
And it was a good way to escape school work, when it all felt like too much again and just made her head hurt.
