I carry a balance that's mine alone,
One where I owe no one the weight of their burden.
It might overwhelm you-
But your unsteady ground isn't my fault.
Still, I’m sorry you fell,

I warned you, didn’t I?
The first truth you knew of me: I am chaos.
That I build walls as easily as I breathe.
Not to keep you out, but to keep myself in.
Safe, steady, untouchable.

The second: I could leave at any time,
And I’m sorry again, it’s my crime.
But my lack of safety’s never my fault,
It’s just the way I halt.

Trust is a dance I rarely join,
And when I do, my steps are smart,
I’ve seen what happens when you fall,
When the music stops and you’re left,
Holding only silence in your hands.

I love dancing alone,
No one ever matches my steps.
My chaotic choreography-
Feels like a puzzle to them.
Loneliness sounds terrifying to some,
But here, I am safe, and it's where I belong.

So don’t ask me to stay,
When the cost is losing myself.
I will always choose my imbalance over the risk
Of falling for someone who might not be there.

But still, I invite you to dance with me.
I’m not hiding anything from you,
This might get a little tiring,
If you’re afraid, let’s not begin.
But if you can handle it,
