New start

Well… It’s been a week since I’ve left my mother’s house. After years of dealing with a piece of shit stepdad, I’ve decided that I’ve had enough. No more.
I don’t really know what I’m gonna do next. I’ve been sleeping on friends’ couches and attending the lectures in the local college. Or, well, should I say, trying to attend the lectures. It’s hard to stay focused on uni when you’re focusing on surviving too. I have 0 dollars to my name - the partying has really taken a toll on me, financially and physically. I’m trying to turn my life around. I took on a new job but it absolutely sucks.
Today, I had my first gig in an attempt to make some extra cash to keep me going until the end of the month. I think I’ll take advantage of my musical skills, and I’ve already attended some lessons in college. I’ve always loved heavy metal, and being in a band was one of many childhood dreams. Maybe I’ll give it a go, while I’m still young and pretty.
There’s another thing that is causing me a lot of anxiety. I’ve missed my period. SHIT. I don’t even know who the dad is. This pregnancy scare has made me stop clubbing and really rethink the direction in which my life is going. I hope it’s nothing. I really can’t be pregnant at 16.
